  • In my finance accruing life I was for 40 years a school teacher/principal mostly in Canberra but with a stint in Cornwall and another on Christmas Island, Indian Ocean.
  • After retirement from job 1 I spent 6 years with the ACT Bureau of Sport and Recreation as the Volunteer Involvement Program co-ordinator.
  • From 2000-2007 I was manager of the Table Tennis Australia Athletes with Disabilities(AWD) program, as a volunteer.
  • From 1998-2005 I was a Board member, sometime vice President, of Table Tennis Australia, as a volunteer.
  • For some 9 years until 2006 I was on the Board of Volunteering ACT, sometime vice President, as a volunteer.
  • During the many years since my birth (and I hope to add a few more yet) I have been fortunate in receiving BA, M Ed Admin, OAM.

Currently,

  • I chair the Disabilities Advisory Committee of the Pacific Schools Games which will be held in Canberra during Nov/Dec 2008.
  • Operate as an international classifier of athletes with disabilities in table tennis.
  • Assist the Australian Sports Commission in producing a DVD on classification in table tennis.
  • Writing A History of Table Tennis in the ACT.
  • Board member of the Oceania Table Tennis Federation with the AWD portfolio.
