International Day of People with DisAbility

After a very successful 9 year association in the national promotion of International Day of People with a DisAbility it is with disappointment we advise that Nican has been unsuccessful in being awarded the tender to continue our great work in 2006/2007. We apologise if the delay in this information has caused you any inconvenience but we are sure you can understand the matter has been out of our hands.

Nican is extremely keen that the momentum built over the last decade not be lost and strongly encourages community organisations, schools, corporate and government sectors to remain committed to celebrating the day in a manner that causes others to take notice of the important messages associated with the day. To this end we have reposted our material from the 2005 campaign and invite you to use it as you see fit.

Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to send you hard copies of the materials as in previous years.

The Australian Government Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs is now responsible for managing to resources for this years day. For further information and event registrations:
