Nican Logos
Guidelines on using logos and resource kits
The IDPD Logo and Star Man are copyright protected and at all times remain the property of Nican Inc. However, we invite anyone planning an event for IDPD to use the national campaign Logo and Star Man. The logos can be used to identify your event as part of the Australia wide campaign. Some examples include placing it on invitations, pamphlets, information brochures or web links. We can also approve the use of the logos on materials you may produce for your individual celebrations. For example, in the past groups have organised their own t-shirts to be worn on the day, others have produced mugs, pens and posters all with the IDPD Logo prominently displayed.
If you are unsure of whether we would approve the use of the IDPD logo for what you have planned do not hesitate to email internationalday@nican.com.au or call us on (Freecall) 1800 806 769
Nican has only a few stipulations surrounding the use of the logo.
- That the Logo and Star Man can not be manipulated in any way expect size. This means that while it can be scaled up or down in size to fit your needs, you can not change the colours of the images or add any other images to. (Eg, have the star man interacting with another image).
- When the IDPD logo or Star Man is reproduced, acknowledgement of Nican's ownership should be made. This can be done by either attaching the Nican Logo to the material bearing the IDPD logo (in a discrete position) or by wording such as "The IDPD Campaign is proudly supported by Nican". Such wording does not need to be in a place of prominence; small and discrete is enough to provide Nican with the appropriate acknowledgment.
- If you are unsure of how these rules effect how you plan to use the images, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss.
