2009 Arafura Games

Oceana Paralympic Committee President, Paul Bird, invites athletes to attend the 2009 Arafura Games in Darwin. Please feel free to forward this throughout your sporting networks of you wish.  

Eight Paralympic sports are to be contested at the 2009 Championships; Athletics, Cycling (road), Swimming, IPC Powerlifting, Shooting, Table Tennis, Wheelchair Tennis and 7-a-side Football (invitational). All sports will receive sanctioning from the relevant International Federation. As the event is targeted towards developing athletes there are no entry standards for this event.
