Grants available - Queensland

The 2010 Building Supportive Communities Grants (Department of Communities, Disability Services) are now open! The Grants are designed to support community members and organisations to use their creativity to carry out a project that includes and welcomes people with a disability. The Building Supportive Communities grants are available to incorporated entities throughout Queensland for activities that strengthen the community's capacity to welcome and include people with a disability. Some sporting/recreational activities and events which meet the criteria have been successful in securing grants in past funding rounds. Grants are available for amounts between $500 and $5000.
