These days things come and go so quickly it is the exception to find something with staying power. That's why Link - Australia's leading cross-disability lifestyle magazine - is extremely proud to be celebrating its 25th year of production this year.

Link started out in 1980 as a small state-based newspaper and has since evolved into a national, professionally designed, glossy colour magazine.

"I have lost count of the number of people who have told me they remember Link from years ago," said Editor Kate Treloar. "It is wonderful to hear that the magazine has made an impact on people."

Whether you are a person with a disability, carer, health professional, disability organisation, or policy maker, Link offers information, advice and insights into life with a disability.

Featuring opinions and perspectives directly from people with a disability, Link covers a diverse range of areas including news, issues, art, sport, breakthroughs, travel, health, advocacy, products and people in the disability sector.

Equally proud of Link's track record are its producers Inprint Design - an Adelaide-based graphic design company which employs 15 people with a disability. "Link is the perfect project for us," said Manager Lee-anne Sparkes. "It is rewarding for our team to be responsible for such an important and diverse publication."

Link also prides itself on its accessibility with articles written in easy-to-read 'plain English' printed in large clear font. Link is also available on audio cassette.
