The Independent Living Centre NSW is a community based information, display and education service for the older person, people with disabilities, their carers and advocates.Clients are assisted by professional staff to make informed choices about commercially available equipment and other resources which enable them to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and a safer environment. Products are not on sale at the Centre. Information is provided to people visiting the Centre by casual drop-in or by appointment with a health professional at the Centre or in answer to telephone, e-mail, fax or mail enquiries on products, organisations and other resources - details include sources of supply, when available approximate cost, availability and function.
