RAID Program - Radford College Gym

RAID

The RAID BASKETBALL program is suited to any person who has an intellectual disability who wants to develop basketball skills, social skills, personal confidence and physical fitness. This program also offers the excitement of semi-finals, grand finals and presentation nights each semester. This program is conducted by YMCA of Canberra staff and RAID Volunteers. RAID basketball caters to all levels of basketball ability from beginner right through to advanced competitions. Advanced players are encouraged to become part of the ACT representative teams and attend the national Australian Basketball Championships.

Program Details Location: Radford College Gym (College St, Bruce) When: Wednesday 6.30pm - 7.30pm (Beginner) & 7.30 - 8.30 (Advanced) Cost: $2 per game Bring: Drink bottle, suitable footwear & appropriate gym wear (shirts are provided for)
