Canterbury Earlwood Caring Association Limited (also know as the Earlwood Caring Community Centre) is a community based organisation, administrated by a Management Committee of local residents. There are also numerous sub-committees to assist with various facets of CECAL's work. The CECAL is a non-profit charitable organisation which depends on the support of many dedicated volunteers to enable the current level of services and programmes to be provided. Membership is available for $10.00 per year Donations $2.00 and over are tax deductible.

Playgroup, Parenting workshops and child and family support worker, weekly groups: Seniors Social Support Groups for frail-aged people and people with disabilities, Art and Craft groups, English and computer classes, yoga and tai chi classes, Earlwood art group, Greek women's group, fortnightly men’s group, women’s morning teas, social outings and bus trips, and other community activities and events including neighbour of the year. The Hall is also rented by other groups including: jujutsu class and yoga classes

Most programmes $4 per day. Some programs are free or gold coin donation.
