MCNT

The Multicultural Council of NT is a constituent of the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA) and is part of a national network of ECC's.The Council is there for all communities regardless of cultural or ethnic background and operates without political or sectarian affiliation. It has been established as a non-government community based organisation with a role of advocacy, information and representation. The objectives include working towards equal opportunity and equal access for people of non-English speaking backgrounds in all aspects of Australian society, and the promotion and development of a culturally pluralistic and socially cohesive nation.
