Gunnedah Police Citizens Youth Club (NSW)

This is a club to serve the young people of this area.The objectives of police citizens youth clubs are to promote programs and activities directed to the personal, physical and cultural development of children and adolescents. Citizens and police become aware of their responsibilities towards children and adolescents, and the clubs provide a positive interface between the police force and the community. The clubs provide cultural, recreational, and sporting programs for individuals, community groups, and organisations. All people are welcome regardless of sex, race, creed, or ethnic background. Other activities include educational programs on law and order, the role of the police, crime prevention, road safety, and drug abuse. This club caters for small and major functions (food and liquor available). The hall is for hire and their are markets.
