Hands On Studio

An art studio for people with disabilities has given its students the opportunity to be recognised for their abilities rather than their disabilities and break away from life's barriers.

Hands On Studio offers personalised art education programs for people with a disability, where students can work in collaboration with tutors and volunteers to make artworks across a number of mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking and clay.

The studio, under the management of CatholicCare Canberra and Goulburn, maintains a vision that every individual's rights, dignity and worth should be promoted and recognised.

The key objectives of the studio is for students to become professional practicing artists in their own right.
