Clarence Valley Council Access Committee - Lower Clarence

The Clarence Valley Access Committees are committees of Council setup to advise the Council on disability access. The Committee documents barriers for all people with a disability, frail older people, people with temporary injuries and people with young children in access community and private services and facilities. The committee advises Council on barriers and possible solutions. Another important function of the Access Committee is to raise community awareness of the needs of people with disabilities. Clarence Valley Council Access Committees do not provide direct care but provide information and advocacy. Transport is available to access committee meetings. The Access Committee meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 3.00pm at Clarence Valley Council, Grafton Office, 2 Prince St, Grafton and third Wednesday at 12noon at Clarence Valley Council, Maclean Office, River St Maclean.
