The Community Advisory Service is both an information and referral centre, providing information to the public as well as referring clients to more specialised services.Services include providing emergency relief funding to people in financial crisis. General counselling through Family Suport Worker. Financial counselling. Tenant advice and advocacy service (TAAS) QLD, crisis housing. Community Development through programs, education and relaying information of interest to the community. Multicultural Community Development. Face to face legal aid-fortnightly by appointment only. Meeting areas for non-profit organisations to use as a venue for meetings, workshops and seminars. Room hire is free of charge. Sport and Recreation officer aims to identify and implement programs to address and improve the facilities and activities for the sport and recreational needs of the community.
