North West Walking Club (TAS)

North West Walking Club provides a group of commonly interested members who walk to an organised program. Members must be prepared to cope with all types of weather conditions found in Tasmania.Day trips and weekend trips are organised. Walkers will need strong boots, warm waterproof clothes, mittens, hat, waterproof coat, food and water. For weekend walks, they will need a suitable bushwalkers tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and cooking gear in addition to the walking gear. These must be carried by each person in a back pack. All members undertaking walks must be fit and able to complete the walk independently. Each child must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Meetings held 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at Ulverstone High School with guest speakers, visitors welcome.
