Central Bayside Community Health Services - Adult Community Options

Categories:
Acronym:
CBCHS & CBACO

Programs at Central Bayside are based on the individual needs and wants of clients, as assessed through the person centred planning process. We invite family members and/or residential staff to meet with Central Bayside staff and the client to enable a holistic approach to service delivery. Programs are either a combination of centre and community-based. These is dependent on the needs, interests and abilities of the client. Programs are generally conducted within the clients core group. We feel clients are more comfortable and will develop their skills further within a familiar environment. The core group's weekly timetable is decided from objectives outlined within each client's person centred Plan program plan. Central Bayside can assist clients to access supported employment options, TAFE colleges, neighbourhood houses and other community programs or groups.
