Our aim is to transform the lives of children and adults with an intellectual disability in Canberra and the Snowy Monaro through year-round sports training and meaningful competition in a variety of team and individual sports. Special Olympics provides athletes with an opportunity to develop physical fitness, participate in the sharing of skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the wider community. With Special Olympics, you will be able to aspire to compete in local, state, national and international competitions and achieve your Personal Best.
