Collective of Self Help Groups (COSHG)

COSHG

COSHG is a network of self-help and social action groups. These groups are made up of and controlled by people who are directly affected by a particular issue. Self Help Groups are groups of people who get together with others 'in the same boat' to support each other, share experiences and knowledge, and work together to improve their quality of life. Groups are involved in a variety of activities, such as meetings, information, phone support, producing newsletters, social gatherings, advocacy and campaigns. The COSHG Directory lists over 700 groups throughout Victoria. COSHG is a collective, maintained by people from various self help and social action groups.
