Disability Services Disability Intake, Access and Response Service

Acronym: 
DIARS

The purpose of the Intake, Access and Response Service is to provide people with disability, families and carers with information regarding availability of services, register relevant referrals, determine eligibility and advise on service options. Clients with physical or sensory disability or an Acquired Brian Injury will be assisted to access available community-based services. Client/families seeking access to disability services under the Disability Services Act 2006 can be provided with an eligibility assessment and assisted to access the services they require, including the case management and specialist services provided by Disability Client Services (Department of Human Services)
