I-Day Gala Event - The National Film and Sound Archive

The Disability & Community Services Commissioner is hosting a gala event in recognition of the International Day of People with a Disability (I-Day).  It will feature a selection of the best films from The Other Film Festival, an international film festival displaying short films by, with and about people with a disability.  The event will take place at The National Film and Sound Archive, which is fully accessible, all speeches will be Auslan interpreted and all films are fully captioned and audio described.  The event will hold a welcome reception prior to the film festival with drinks, canapés, and speeches.

The festival will take place on the 3rd of December, the International Day of People with Disability.

  *   Tickets available now

  *   6pm-8:30pm, Wednesday 3 December

  *   6-7pm : drinks and canapes, 7-8:30pm : showing of films

  *   Tickets will be FREE and given on a 'first in, first served' basis through NFSA

  *   Tickets to the event are open and available to the general public

  *   Please advise if you have booked and are unable to attend
