Australian Red Cross Society - SA

This is the State Division of the Society.Red Cross provides a variety of services designed to meet, or assist in meeting, a range of needs within the community. Many community based services are provided by volunteers at the local level throughout the state. The blood transfusion service is possibly the best known of the Red Cross Services. Programs are accessed by clients on a self-referral or as referral by other service providers. Red Cross also has a hire service of mobility and other aids, and much more. The role of the state body is to provide the overall framework for activities, and to support the volunteer leadership. Please ring for contacts for regional groups.
