In March 06 the park was handed back to .Mumbulla Creek Falls is a site of significance to Aboriginal people. . A major upgrade of visitor facilities at Mumbulla Creek has resulted in a high quality visitor destination, with interpretive displays explaining the significance of the site and the park, picnic facilities including gas barbeques, toilets, boardwalks and a viewing platform. All facilities comply with Australian Standards for accessible access.
