City of Canada Bay Council

This is the council body providing services and facilities for all residents in the area.Canada Bay local government area is well provided with recreational amenities and opportunities. Over ten percent of the municipality's total area is given over to parks, gardens, reserves and sports fields. Council provides and maintains facilities to allow maximum use and enjoyment of these resources, while keeping a proper balance between active and passive recreation. The CDO (Special Needs) can provide information on services available in the community and refer people to services. A fully accessible leisure centre is available. An access committee meets regularly and is active. Please enquire about any other programs or facilities for people with disabilities. Information is also available on wheelchair access to public buildings and tourist attractions. Access maps of the region may also be available for visitors who have a disability.
