Acronym:
The Boomerang Club

The Boomerang Club is psychosocial day program for adults with psychiatric disabilities. Assists individuals to learn or relearn skills to enable them to integrate more fully into the wider community. Staff provide individual support. Participants are encouraged to take responsibility and to have an active role in decision-making. There is a drop-in program where individuals can meet people and develop a sense of belonging to the club's community. Consumers have incorporated their own organisation and have received funding to provide their own social support program at weekends. Contact via the Boomerang Club.
