This Centre provides a range of services, assistance and programs. The staff includes a Health Education Officer, a resource person who can organise Health Education Programs and Health, Speech Pathologists, who provides assessment, advice and programs to people with speech and language disorders, support to local schools and pre-schools, Ethnic Health Worker who provide a health interpreter and translation service, support and advice in health care matters, Aboriginal Health Worker, who is able to assist the Aboriginal Community. There is a Drug and Alcohol Education Counsellor and a Women's Health Nurse. The Community Nurses organise education and support for people with physical illness, asthma, pediatric care. There are a number of programs and services. Health programs for groups with special needs, a health education program and home and hospital visiting, audiometry services, school screening procedures and pre-natal classes.The Aged Care Workers work from the Aged Care and Advisory Centre. Early Childhood Nurses, Community Mental Health Workers, Sexual Assault Services provide counselling and support services for victims of sexual assault, Diabetes Education providing information and support for clients with diabetes, Sexual Health Nurse.
