Wake to the happy chatter of birds in the surrounding bush; sneak out for a glimpse of the abundant native wildlife, marvel at the incredible stars, or just sit back and relax in front of the fire.  Our cottages are individually themed and 100% pet friendly – just the thing to sit back and allow your senses to be revived!  Bush walks from your door (5 foot wide and accessible for those with sturdy wheels); abundant native wildlife; hand feed wild birds on the verandah out front; absolute peace.  Soak in the delicious smell of our Aussie bush and let some serenity sink back into your life.  The 2 bedroom Igloo cottage is one of four fabulous, pet friendly self contained cottages spread across 26 acres of bushland just 25 minutes inland from Lorne in the Great Ocean Road region. The Igloo is purpose built for accessibility for all, sleeping up to 6 people in a queen bed in one room and a queen and set of bunks in the second bedroom.  It offers accessibility across the board in the fully equipped kitchen, gas log fire, bathroom and laundry.  The cottage is set on a gentle slope with wheel access to the wood BBQ/bonfire area out front.  This area is also securely fenced so, if you bring your dog, they can roam freely with your peace of mind. Wheeled shower/commode chairs are available at minimal rental; bed raisers, bed sticks and static shower bench seat available free of charge.  If needed, we can also arrange a professional carer (Div 2 nurse) to come to the cottage and assist with personal care.

We believe that limited mobility should never be in the way of a great holiday! Going way beyond the usual half hearted ramp access, we offer wide doorways, huge space in all rooms, raised bed legs, accessible shower, cooking and laundry facilities as well as some great reading and artwork from the Canadian Arctic. Our guests have included all ranges of physical disability from low to high level care, all with great success. In house menu available to pre order restaurant quality food which is then placed in the cottage prior to the guest’s arrival, ready for reheating/steaming/baking when required.
