There are over 40,000 books and other materials which may be borrowed, including cassettes, DVDS, Cds paperbacks, non-fiction and fiction magazines. Scanner available for scanning and coloured photocopies.The library is accessible to people with a vision impairment. There is a visiting service for the hospital, hostel, day care centre and aged cottage. Phone requests are taken and there is also a fax service. Laminating is available up to A3 size and there is bookbinding on request. Two stations set up for free public Internet access during library opening hours, Opening hours during school holidays are as follows - closed Monday, weekends, public holidays, open 11.00am to 5.00pm Tuesday to Thursday, 11am-4.00pm Fridays.
