Devonport Community House provides a friendly, non-threatening place to visit. Everyone is welcome whether for information, to gain new skills, or to have a cuppa and a chat. The House welcomes your ideas and your company. Services are provided for all members of the public including child minding, parent involved playgroup, teen activities and adult workshops. Volunteer work, craft classes, workshops on health, education, exercise, cooking and eating with friends available. Support groups such as Alanon and Chronic Fatigue meet regularly at the House. People with intellectual disabilities are encouraged to participate in all House activities. Meeting rooms and child care facilities are available for hire. Information on community activities, social security issues and internet and computers are available for use. A Men's Shed meets weekly and Devonport Community Garden is open from 9 - 4 daily and welcomes everyone. Produce is sold through the House. Garden beds are available for people with a disability.
