A recreation program focusing on the development of physical and intellectual skills.This program utilising positive techniques from martial arts, is conducted for people who are recovering from head injury as well as catering for people with other disabilities eg physical and/or intellectual. There will be no cost to participants. The video available is a workshop demonstration (with commentary) of the effects of martial arts and controlled movement on persons with brain injury and other motor impairments. Participants include persons with brain injury, martial arts instructors, parents and a wide range of medical, therapy and educational professionals. A second video entitled Fighting Fit has been made.
