This is a government funded service. The Home Care Co-ordinator will assess needs, and draw up an agreement outlining the services to be provided. Services are available during the day, at night, and on weekends. Live-in respite can be provided in emergencies.The costs are paid for by customers and the joint NSW and Commonwealth Government Home and Community Care Program. Clients are expected to pay a contribution for the services they receive. Those on low incomes may be eligible for a subsidised service. Home Care can also refer clients to other community services like community nurses, Meals on Wheels, community transport, home modifications services, community options projects.
