This library provides resources to cater for the information and recreational reading needs of the people in this area.There is a good range of books, magazines, cassettes, videos, DVDs and compact discs. Services include reference enquiries, and a Readers Advisor. There is an Aboriginal Resource Van (Bookmobile) which services the outlying rural areas. The children's library has picture books for younger children, early reading materials, school project information, fiction and general books, homework and assignment help, community and cultural noticeboard. The Library acts as a liaison centre for those wishing to participate in adult literacy classes either as voluntary tutors or students requiring help. Please enquire about any other programs or facilities for people with disabilities, and for people from non-English speaking backgrounds.
