This Centre endeavours to advance the interests of, and promote the welfare of immigrants living in Adelaide.The Centre was established as the Migrant Resource Centre of South Australia in 1981. The Centre serves as a base for ethnic communities, develops educational, cultural and social activities, gathers and provides general and multilingual information and referral services and co-ordinates the humanitarian program through the provision of case management to newly arrived refugees arriving to South Australia. We also support newly emerging communities from refugee background communities focussing at the moment in communities from the Middle East, Africa and the former Yugoslavia. Community Development Programs are also provided to targeted communities such as the Vietnamese and Filipino communities
