Moorabool Shire Council Aged & Disability Services aims to assist people maintain independence in their own home.The Council provides Home Care support service which includes general house cleaning, washing & ironing, meal preparation, transport to medical appointments etc. Respite Care provides a break for people who care for a person with a disability. The 'Getaway Group' meets every second Saturday and provides a stimulating program for adults with a disability. The 'Kidz Club' meets on alternate Saturdays and provides a program for children with a disability. The Adult Day Activity Program is more commonly known as QUAMBY or Day Care. The programs operate in Bacchus Marsh on Monday and Friday between 10am and 3pm. Activities include day outings, discussion groups, gentle exercise, music, crafts, gardening, indoor bowls, card games, bingo and men's program.
