Services to adults include the loan of books, magazines, audio cassettes, compact disks, videos, hire of word processing facilities (charges apply), Internet (free), talking books and large print books.The library regularly holds talks, exhibitions and displays. Services to children and young adults include collections for beginning readers, fiction, picture story books, regular activities for preschool groups, Sponge Club meets once a month for children aged 7 - 12 years, activity programs during school holidays and a work experience program for secondary school students. Darebin Council homepage on the Internet offers community activities and services. The library also has a range of materials in community languages including Greek, Italian.
