The centre aims to provide a meeting place which is inclusive.Some of the aims of the centre are to foster bonds between people, to provide a flexible program of activities, to respond to local concerns and needs, to involve residents in planning and running activities, to advocate with Government Departments and other bodies on behalf of clients/consumers. The Centre links with other organisations and is used by agencies to provide their clients with self help and grass root services. There are opportunities for volunteers in the areas of office skills, promotion, fundraising, working with groups, maintenance etc.
