Assistance with air travel for people with disabilities.Passengers should mention their support needs when booking flights, and give details of any special equipment which will be carried, or may be required in-flight. Passengers also need to mention any special diet requirements when booking and if they are on medication. Enough medication for the trip should be carried in cabin baggage. There is a special card for people with disabilities and high support needs and their carers entitling them to discounts on domestic flights. This scheme is administered by Nican. The Qantas Carer Concession Cardholders and their nominated carer can receive a discount for Qantas domestic travel within Australia and New Zealand - refer to Nican website www.nican.com.au
