Free tuition by volunteer tutors for 1 1/2 hours per week on a one-to-one basis for adults, sometimes supporting class attendance. Volunteer tutors are available in the metropolitan area and many country centres. These volunteers undertake a registered accredited training course, followed by on-going training. Adults with a disability who wish to improve their literacy levels have access to a range of preparatory education services available through TAFE WA, including those provided by the TAFE Colleges, Read Write Now!, Adult Migrant Education Service, External Studies and Aboriginal Access.
