The Royal Far West Children's Health Scheme to provides medical and allied health care for children from country NSW areas. The Scheme provides NSW country families with medical services for their children which are sometimes unavailable or difficult to access in the country. In addition, some children also visit specialists in Sydney. Parents are required to accompany their child. The children's meals, accommodation and transport are prtovided by the Royal Far West free of charge. A respite care service is available for children and their families with high support needs during the January school holidays.
