The Scleroderma Association of NSW Inc

This Association was formed in 1979 to provide mutual support and help among members. The Association also aims to learn more about the disease, and to bring this informed knowledge, and the needs of scleroderma patients to the notice of the general public and the medical profession. The Association also encourages research, and raises funds for this purpose. It was felt that by meeting other patients and their families and discussing ways to cope with problems, alleviated the isolation felt when experiencing the effects of a rare illness like scleroderma. The Association appreciates the generous financial assistance of families and interested friends. The Association would therefore be grateful for any support it can receive from the general public. Patient education programs, workshops, seminars are held for people with scleroderma and others interested in this disorder. Our Support Groups meet at the City of Sydney RSL Club, 565 George Street, Sydney. The fourth Saturdays of each month from February until November, 1.30pm.
