Objectives of the NSW police community youth clubs are to promote programs and activities directed to the personal, physical and cultural development of children and adolescents, to awaken to awaken the community and police to their responsibilities towards children and adolescents, to nurture citizenship, to provide an interface between the police service and the citizens of NSW especially children and adolescents which fosters mutual respect and understanding, to provide cultural, recreational and sporting programs for individuals, community groups and organisations regardless of sex, race, creed or ethnic background, to provide educational programs pertaining to the maintenance of law and order.
