Stroke Association of the ACT

The Stroke Association of the ACT was formed to provide a voice for stroke survivors. The Stroke Association provides support, encouragement, information, education and assistance to those who have had a stroke and their carers, and advocates for best practice in the treatment of stroke in the ACT. The Stroke Association also provides support to the Stroke Unit at The Canberra Hospital, the Stroke Clubs and the Young Stroke Survivors Group. There are three stroke support clubs in the ACT. The clubs provide social and activity groups for stroke affected people and their families.
