Taree Bowl

Taree Bowl has access and facilities for people with disabilities. Many individuals and groups of people with disabilities use the facility. There are school children on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, adults and children on Friday nights. Many people with disabilities have been integrated into mainstream leagues. We have a wheelchair ramp for access to the bowling area and special lightweight bowling balls. All of the 12 lanes are fitted with bumper rails. Bumper bowling means no more gutter balls, hence a better score. A fun league is run on Friday nights for people with disabilities of all ages. There is fully automatic computer scoring which is user friendly, and 'glow bowling' on Friday and Saturday nights.
