Tasmanian Family History Society Inc

The Society aims to promote the study and research of the science of Genealogy and Family History through education, preservation and transcribing of relevant records and the writing and publishing of appropriate literature. In addition reference libraries and associated learning opportunities are provided to the public.Through the efforts of the Society's members the Civil Registers of Births, Deaths and Marriages (pre 1900) have been microfilmed and are available to the public at society branch libraries or at LINC libraries.
