Wyndarra Centre Inc. (TAS)

Wyndarra is a local Centre whose permanent and volunteer staff provide immediate, confidential and personal help when information or action is needed.As a local resource centre, Wyndarra makes available a range of personal services. This could be as simple as writing a letter, making a phone call, or dealing with a family or individual crisis. Wyndarra offers - family support and community projects that aim to ease the stresses of everyday life and to enrich the quality of life for example stress management courses, parenting workshops, school holiday, services to aged people and people with a disability, housing information, immediate (temporary) and emergency accommodation, with support, to assist people towards independent permanent housing, financial advice and economic relief alternatives, introductions to other services and agencies for example Tempcare, Centacare, respite care.
